We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to help drive our on premise and cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure our software products are delivered with high reliability, scalability, and security. If you’re passionate about automating processes, optimizing infrastructure in supporting the safer gambling space, this role is for you.

As part of our development team you’ll work with problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of software solutions for safer gambling applications, ensuring fast and reliable releases.
Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to streamline code integration, testing, and deployment processes.
Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency for safer gambling applications.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, maintaining the uptime and performance of critical systems.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Ensure security best practices in system architecture, application deployment, and data handling to meet regulatory requirements in the gambling industry.
Drive automation of manual tasks to enhance operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce operational costs.
Collaborate with product teams to ensure infrastructure supports the performance demands of high-traffic applications.
Maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure proactive system health checks.
Write automation scripts for building, deploying and maintaining various products.
Enhance and support existing automation scripts.
Provide support during Production Releases and as well all interim environmental releases.
Plan and upgrade all automation related tools used by Development teams.
Pro-actively identify procedures to streamline and automate the delivery process.
Research and implement new tools for the development and execution of Test Automation Scripts.
Document all procedures related to the processes and tools developed.
Monitoring health and performance of Development, QA and Performance environments and execute relevant maintenance tasks or fixes.
Enforce and maintain Environment and Application Security based on established policies and procedures.
Stay updated on industry best practices, particularly in the gambling industry, to support compliance with regulatory bodies.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 5+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering/design.
3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, ideally within the gambling, gaming, or high-availability software industries.
Minimum 2+ years of practical experience in Automation Build and Delivery Operations.
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and cloud-native services
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, in Azure DevOps (VSTS or similar).
Strong expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation and system maintenance.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as syslog, Azure AppInsight, AWS CloutWatch, or similar.
Understanding of security best practices in cloud infrastructure, networking, and data protection.
Knowledge of gambling regulations and compliance requirements is an asset.
Extensive experience with scripting languages (e.g. Bash)
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with a variety of relevant technologies, including PHP/Symfony, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, XML, REST, SQL/NoSQL, Redis.
Experience in providing support for Production Releases and Environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with deploying and managing real-time applications.
Understanding of database management (SQL/NoSQL) and caching systems (e.g., Redis, Memcached).
Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
